Sunday and Monday we went hiking and exploring. Our excursions included Browns Ditch where we hiked next to and on top of a water flume that feeds water from Sand Creek into Bass Lake (http://tinyurl.com/yb62y4e). Later in the day we drove into Yosemite and visited the Mariposa Grove of Sequoia Trees (http://tinyurl.com/ye9f7l4) where we hiked into some snow and slush while finding the giant sequoias.
Yesterday we drove into Yosemite Valley and hiked around while taking pictures of El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Falls and Yosemite Falls. The drive was windy, but it was worth it.
Today it was rainy here at the condo and more is expected tomorrow, so hopefully we'll see some snow in the Park when we go back on Thursday. We're also going to try to visit a museum or two tomorrow.
