As I sit at my campsite soaking in all of the elements of the night - campfire, live musician, kid noises at the pool, a nearly full moon and a starry sky, I feel blessed and content. The fact is, we serve an awesome God and, to me, His presence is most evident in quiet, reflective moments like this. It is here that I hear His gentle voice. Sometimes He reminds me of areas where I need to grow (that's the case tonight) and other times He just tells me He loves me. I know that camping isn't for everyone, but I pray that you have your own quiet time/ritual and that you listen to God and the message He has just for you.
