Today, we were privileged to be at the Escondido Corps with Majors David & Diane Ebel. We celebrated Friend Day in Sunday School and Worship. One of the highlights was a dramatic presentation of the song Everything by the teens under the leadership of Charlotte Shipp. Phyllis enrolled 6 new Community Care Ministry members as a follow up to the class she taught Thursday night. She also presented the new CCM Secretary with her commission on behalf of the Divisional Commander. I shared the message, The Sinners Friend, from the text John 15:13-16.
Pray for this vibrant Corps with a soldiery committed to fighting the Great Salvation War.
John 15:13-16 NASB "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. "You are My friends if you do what I command you. "No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
